Sauvignon Blanc is one of the world’s most fascinating grape varieties.  But in a world of gorgeous white wines, it’s not the only fish in the sea.

One way to think of Sauvignon Blanc is that it’s an amazing chameleon.  In France, it can taste like flint and wet stones.  In New Zealand, it can be like gooseberry and passion fruit.  In Napa, like cream and honey.

What explains these differences?  Terroir — the matching of Sauvignon Blanc with climate, soil and winemaker.

But Sauvignon Blanc isn’t the only grape with ideal terroirs.  Gruner Veltliner, Albarino, Pinot Grigio and many more offer distinctive differences from region to region — as well as a plethora of opportunities for summer refreshment and fun.

This tasting explores the wide, wonderful world of summer white wines. So come on and join us!   No matter where your palate is at (red, white, rosé or beer), crisp white wine just can’t be beat in the heat!

When signing up online, please note which location you will attend in the notes section of your order.
