If all you can think of when you hear Port or Sherry is your grandma pouring a syrupy sweet glass before bed, you need this class!

The different styles of sherry can span every course of your meal from crisp dry finos as an aperitif, to nutty amontillados that evoke aged burgundy, to rich Pedro Ximenez that is perfect with, or as, dessert. Sherry is also a fantastic cocktail ingredient, from classic Tiki recipes to filling in for vermouth in your Manhattan. We’ll explore the unique way that sherry is made and aged, and discuss ideal food pairings and how to incorporate different styles into your mixology.

Port is one of the most complex and age worthy wines in the world. Far from one-note sweetness, there are layers of flavors that evolve over time and serve as the perfect way to finish a meal, or celebrate with friends by passing a bottle. Whether it’s fine aged vintage port, subtle tawny, or ready to drink late bottled vintage we will help you discover the perfect bottle for any occasion.

Join us for this foray into Port and Sherry and discover some of the best and most versatile wines in the world.
