With early roots representing E&J Gallo in the southeastern U.S. and northern Europe, followed by a marketing role with the Sebastiani family in Sonoma, Jean may not have taken the flashiest career path—but he built a deep network of growers and small wineries along the way.

Now, as co-founder of Kate Arnold Wines, Jean is sourcing top-tier fruit from Oregon’s premier AVAs—McMinnville, Yamhill-Carlton, Dundee Hills, and Tualatin Valley—alongside standout Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc from Washington’s Royal Slope.
