Silvio Jermann was the great pioneer to Italian white wine who followed a simple yet profound idea – grapes growing in old Italian vineyards can make great wine.
His son, Felix, is now at the helm, representing the fifth generation of Jermanns that has guided Friulian winemaking for more than a century. Born and raised in the hills and vineyards of his ancestral home, his connection to Italian wine culture is so extensive and natural that it’s woven deep into his personal character.
And we here at Waterford Wine are deeply honored that this iconic winery has choosen our new Farwell location to host a tasting of the estate’s wines. On this Tuesday, July 9, from 4 to 5:45 pm, Felix Jermann himself will be presenting not only his Vintage Tunina, but an entire range of wines from his family’s winery. The cost of the tasting is absolutely free and it’s an open house format so you can just stop on in (and we’ve got plenty of parking so there is no reason to not duck out of the office early for a quick taste). As always, we will be offering special, substantially reduced pricing on all of these wines that evening.
