Cool, quiet Cabernet Franc with a Loire cadence—red currant and sour cherry upfront, shaded by crushed raspberry and a hint of dried cranberry. There’s that Bourgueil earthiness underneath: damp clay, pencil shavings, and a light dusting of white pepper. Medium-light on its feet, the tannins feel fine and chalk-etched rather than firm, carrying the fruit with a savory, gently herbal finish that leans toward bay leaf and fresh tobacco. Restrained, honest, and very much about place rather than power.
