Waterford has represented Domaine Berthelemot for nearly its entire existence. In the context of Burgundy, it is both a young and deeply rooted estate. Young in that it was formally established only recently by Brigitte Berthelemot; historic in that it unites her family’s legacy holdings with two additional estates long farmed by the family. The result is a domaine that remains largely under the radar—one we firmly believe will soon become highly allocated. For now, the value remains exceptional.

Though we have worked with these wines for years, limited yields have until now prevented a comprehensive tasting. With the arrival of recent vintages, the moment has finally come.
