Jonata & The Hilt Winery Visit - Santa Barbara's most highly reward Pinots and Chardonnays - Milwaukee only.

Two wineries in one presentation: Jonata & The Hilt.

Jonata is the embodiment of land, soul, and people coming together for a common goal; to produce singular wines from a singular place. The name JONATA is an homage to the history of the region. Jonata translates to “Tall Oak” and is native to the local Chumash Indian tribe. The land was part of the 1845 Mexican land grant
of Rancho San Carlos de Jonata. Today, Jonata sits at the heart of the original land grant.

Today, Jonata makes some of the highest scored Bordeaux Varietal wines in southern California. Join as we taste a selection of them.

In the far southwest corner of Sta. Rita Hills AVA lies a rugged, windswept, cold, and coastal estate, called The Hilt, home of the renowned Bentrock and Radian Vineyards; The Hilt Estate is the grower and producer of Bentrock and Radian Vineyards, producing stunning Pinot Noir and Chardonnay reflective of this dynamic corner of California.

On May 9, we are thrilled to release this beautiful collection of 2021 vintage single vineyard Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from our estate vineyards of Bentrock and Radian.

“2021 was about as perfect as a vintage can get. It was zero stress. By mid-fermentation, we could tell that we were in the midst of something very special. The fruit intensity was astonishing, but the wines truly stuck out for their freshness and balance.” - Matt Dees, Winemaker

Join us for an incredible VIP cocktail hour event as none other than Matt Dees, winemaker of Jonata and Hilt personally walks you through these award winning wines.

Ticket price is $50 (credited with a purchase, no cash value) or free to terroir club members.

Wines TBA.
