Event Details

Join us for an exclusive event celebrating one of Italy's most storied and innovative wineries, Cleto Chiarli. We will be joined by Tommasso Chiarli, representing the 5th generation of this family estate.

For over 160 years, the Chiarli family has been the benchmark for quality Lambrusco, a vibrant and food-friendly sparkling red wine from Italy's Emilia-Romagna region.
Our special tasting event offers a unique journey through history, from the 1860 founding of Emilia-Romagna's first wine-producing company by Cleto Chiarli—who initially crafted his Lambrusco for his bustling Modena restaurant—to the modern, high-quality vintages produced at their stunning Tenuta Cialdini estate.

Tommaso lived in London for both his high school and university education, completing his BASc Arts & Sciences at the prestigious University College London.  During these formative years he took part, thanks to the family business, in many international wine fairs and events.  His professional experience also includes a six-month internship for IBM in Stuttgart, Germany, and an internship in the Commission for Agriculture at the EU Parliament in Brussels, Belgium. He next completed a Master of Science in Business Administration in London at the Imperial College Business School to improve his financial and managerial skills with the vision of securing a successful future for the family winery.

In September 2016, Tommaso Chiarli officially joined the Cleto Chiarli winery. He has actively worked in the vineyards, helped with harvest and also in the cellar, where he’s been training on all the wine-making processes with the aim of gaining experience in all aspects of the winery.

Explore these wines with a member of one of Italy's most celebrated winemaking families and explore all the joy and versatility that Lambrusco has to offer.
