Join us at Waterford Delafield from 6 to 7 p.m. Jan. 21 to enjoy the wines of Stringer Cellars with director of sales Chris Meyer. 

Casey Stringer was raised in Mequon by a family of food and wine lovers. While in high school, his family was traveling in the Bay area when they decided to take a detour to Napa Valley.  It was in Napa where Casey fell in love with the wine-country lifestyle, vineyard filled landscapes and wine.  Casey ended up going to photography school in Santa Barbara and working at local wineries in the nearby Santa Ynez Valley.  

From there he moved north to work at wineries in Napa, Oregon and eventually New Zealand, where he attended school for a formal education in winemaking.  

In 2015, Casey ventured out on his own, and Stringer Cellars was born. 

Fast forward to 2019, when Chris Meyer and Casey Stringer met one another, and quickly bonded over their mutual love of wine. After a 10-year professional golf career, Chris was hired by Stringer Cellars as Director of Sales and Managing Member.

Today Casey and Chris produce wine from premier vineyard sites throughout California. Their approach to winemaking is simple; use the finest fruit with minimal intervention in the cellar. The result, world class wines with impeccable balance.
