Event Details

Terroir is a word usually reserved for the rolling hills of France or the valleys of Napa, but sit with a glass of farm-to-bottle whiskey and you’ll realize that soil and grain has its own story to tell when it comes to spirits.

The landscape—defined by its glacial bones and black earth—produces grain with a specific density and a deep, resonant sweetness. The corn is dense and sweet with oil, the rye bristles with spice, and the barley carries a clean, cold-weather purity. When that grain is handled with intention, the result isn't just a spirit; it’s a liquid map of the farm it came from.

On Friday, April 10th, from 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm, we are bringing that world of unique spirits to life at our Delafield location for our Craft Spirits Festival.

We’ll be welcoming a curated group of blenders, distillers, and farm-to-bottle pioneers. These are the makers who get their boots muddy; they are the ones who understand that the "spice" in a rye isn't just from the barrel, but from the stresses of a hard winter on the crop.

You’ll meet the craftspeople who coax caramel and toasted pecan from heirloom corn, who build texture and length from single-variety, estate-grown rye, and who walk fence lines to forage the botanicals that give their gin its snap of spruce tip and wildflower. These aren’t anonymous factory labels; they are working distilleries rooted in grain, weather, and patience.

We will be focusing on producers throughout the midwest, but our lineup stretches across the world and includes some of our favorite sips. You can expect robust bourbons layered with vanilla and charred oak, rye whiskies humming with cracked pepper and dark cocoa, and gins alive with green herbs and bright citrus oils, and complex liquers that will elevate your home bar to new heights.

We’ll be offering our best spirits discounts of the year on any bottles purchased during the event. We'll be focusing on The Midwest has always grown world-class grain; now it’s time to celebrate what we’re distilling from it. We hope you’ll join us on Friday, April 10th for an evening that proves the finest spirits in the country are closer than you think.
