Please join us for an evening of history, legacy, and exceptional Napa Valley wines as we host a special tasting seminar featuring Freemark Abbey Winery.
We welcome you to an in-depth exploration of one of Napa Valley’s most storied estates, celebrating its remarkable 140th anniversary. Freemark Abbey Winery also proudly marks the 50th anniversary of the Judgment of Paris—notably as the only California winery to have submitted both a Chardonnay and a Cabernet Sauvignon in that landmark tasting.
This seminar also highlights a meaningful transition in winemaking leadership. After an extraordinary 42-year tenure, Ted Edwards has passed the torch to Kristy Melton. Having worked closely together on the 2019 and 2020 vintages, Kristy’s inaugural release begins with 2021, ushering in an exciting new chapter while honoring the house style.
The evening will culminate with a tasting of the Sycamore Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, widely regarded as the crown jewel of the portfolio.
